
ŠTEFAN NITRIANSKY
is a highly creative swordsmith deeply rooted in all types of Western European arms used in the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
His masterpieces
are all originals exclusively. Differing in the smallest details or materials used they are being made as a result of his scholarly research of original arms. He has been producing his swords since being professionally involved in combat re-enactment activities ( 1995 ) such as performing with ANCILE, the group of historical fencing , the one which he himself have founded. His first-hand knihgtly experience from real combats enables him to test all the neccessary configurations of his masterpieces like toughness, sharpness, flexibility and durability in order to achieve the best quality features as possible. His arms have been winning the high regard of many practitioners of historical European swordsmanship, many of whom have frequented museums and have handled the old masterpieces being experienced enough to compare.
Hand-craft philosophy
is strictly based upon the uniqueness of client´s demands. It ranges from custom-tailored arms of a basic design at affordable prices to the unique and more valuable highest quality masterpieces.
